IPWEA invites you to celebrate your organisation's sustainability successes by submitting an abstract for a presented paper or poster about your project at the upcoming Sustainability in Public Works Conference in Tweed Heads on 27--29 July 2014, then complete the online award entry form at www.ipwea.org/sustain2014 Entries can include any new or re ned activity or product that has demonstrably improved the sustainability of public infrastructure or the sustainability of communities through public works and services. There will be an overall winner, plus one award for each of the three conference sub-themes -- Sustainable Infrastructure, Sustainable Communities and Responding to Climate Change. Entries will be judged on criteria including the degree of innovation; the breadth of sustainability dimensions (economic, social, etc.); the standard of the poster or oral presentation, plus the signi cance of the need addressed and the degree to which that need is satis ed. The Awards will be presented on the evening of Monday, 28 July 2014 at the 2014 IPWEA Sustainability in Public Works Conference dinner.
